Good info, but concerned about every time I request my credit score, doesn't it make my score go lower??
It does not ding your score if you are the one that requests it. If a bank, credit card company, lender, etc., requests your credit report it does put a small ding on your score but nothing drastic. You want to stay away from late payments, high credit card balances, etc....those will lower your score the quickest.
